Research Support

The RMHS often undertakes projects connected with Royal Marines history. Recent examples include the maintenance of records of all known Royal Marine graves worldwide or the recording of oral histories of Royal Marines who served in actions such as Suez, Aden and Borneo.

The RMHS has often been involved (working closely with the Royal Marines Museum) on cataloguing and accepting private collections of deceased Members.

We publish much of our member’s research in the Sheet Anchor and in our books.
